I could use some advice as to the best place to sell my Z1. Its a very early '72 but was a bit of a repro-part restoration and is missing lots of the super rare early parts like ribless carbs and date coded switch gear. Someone like RB would rip it to pieces from an originality point of view but its a good running bike. Is ebay the best way to go? The bike is located in SoCal. Thanks,

To get highest price, ebay is prolly the way to go. But, I had a buddy sell one of his bikes [CB750] recently, and the buyer backed out. Apparently that happens a lot.

I typically list bikes for sale on my local craigslist. Forums are a great place too, maybe try KZrider.

I have a Z1B, and never considered selling it, I advise you not to, you will regret it!

Sell it back to Japan via Japanese ebay the Japanese vintage bikers are paying bigger money than the US market

Thanks for the advice guys. I rarely seem to have time to ride it anymore as I'm busy with the kids so I suppose it can stay under a tarp in the garage.

I know where you can pick up a nice one. A vintage club member in Knoxville posted a Hustler on the board at the club last week. If you are interested, I will get the details....
