Not a whole lot to report but I got a few small things done.

New gas tank mounts.

Made these up and got them on the frame.

And they made for a nice place to mount some new electronics.

The mini coils fit right in there.

The rest of the old brackets will get cleaned up on disassembly prior to paint.

It seems that most of the commercial silencers have an exit tube that is bent and exit horizontal. Always thought it looked like crap. Love the straight exit tubes on your.

There is a reason they turn down, even so, oil still will be blown all over the back of the bike and make a huge mess..... :banghead :e4

Jeff, I might have to copy that coil bracket. Don't hate me, it just looks too damn good...oh and I have those same coils. Your bike looks killer.

I agree Mac, I like silencers to have straight output tubes too. If you don't like the mess on the back of the bike, just quit putting oil in the tank. The bike will stay clean. :lol:
