Well, John, I thought the intent of this board was to help with information he might need to prevent it from occurring again. That would require a different piston design, possibly special made.

I have to apologize to the board that I have decades of hands-on experience with this sort of stuff, but it seems it just isn't needed, nor wanted. Please pardon me for wanting to help.

No, John, all I did was try to help with information for the OP, noting more. The question of you was how much of this specific issue have you had, nothing more. I have had 40 years of it.

Why not put a simple 4 striker topic section in, or, 'other strokes', whatever, for the members here that do have them?

This is the "not triple related" section, so this is the proper section Dave.

Your question was invalid to this discussion, the posters question was where to find a matching piston, and that should have been where the answers were directed. It was a simple, straight forward question.

OK you two, cut it out. You're both right, it was a simple question with a simple answer, and Dave is trying to be helpful in suggesting that the problem is less likely to repeat itself if pistons made for the job would be installed.

Now shake hands and be friends.

"INVALID", I guess I just don't know my "place" in the scheme of things here, do I.
