Here is my father's 1975 S3A that he purchased from the original owner in 1976. The bike had been last ridden in 1986 and always stored inside. I have had it for 10 yrs and finally found enough time to get it cleaned up and running. As far as I know it is original and my father says that he did not change anything other than add the windshield to it when he bought it. 2687 miles on the odometer after I took it for a test drive. The bike is in fantastic shape and only took some cleaning and the general repairs that you would expect of a bike that is 40 years old. Rebuilt carbs (with original jets), front brake master cylinder, points, and battery.

Good job to keep that bike and spruce it up. It looks great!

Gorgeous!! A bike like that is so much cooler than a full resto...even without the provenance - that just adds to it.

My H2 looks essentially the same as it did 40 years ago, John.
