If it's a vertical V twin it's a Harley wannabe, so they are going for the lowest motorcycle standard there is...... So they are all the same....

You Harley haters should bring your bike and join me on my next 800 mile day, different bikes have different strengths and weaknesses. Same with riders.

Yeah, that is true John, no argument, but this is a Triples forum, and for every dedicated Harley Rider, who enjoys clocking up the miles, there are many with 140db. of "attitude", who need to be laughed at.... No dis-respect here! :|

I'm going for it being a Honda 750 -4  And John, you are correct, riding 800 Miles on a Triple is HARD work, even the smell eventually gets to you . . . and the noise from the chambers (if fitted). Hardleys NOW do the job well and fits the bill (compared to the dross they turned out in the 1970s) - They still feel like a motorcycle and the VTwin "throb" is enough to make you feel like you are riding a powerful and thrilling bike, they have the grunt and the low down torque to make for an interesting ride, I recently rode my Z1 and the H2 100 miles each day, BOTH were thrilling and I REALLY enjoyed blasting by a good many Harleys, but if I were to spend the entire day in the seat then I would be looking at something more durable and comfortable, I'd even consider a Goldwing Etc
.
.
.
I just realised, I am FINALLY getting Old :(
