Runs good 11,500 miles, sat for many years original owner cleaned carbs and tank and she fire up, recent tires . there is a part missing from the radiator either a chrome guard or chrome trim,,,,,,, anyway I am interested but don't know anything about the GT750's any advice opinions are appreciated Also wondering ig the GT750 has a oil tank filter the same as the Kawasaki triples?

Not sure if its worth that but anytime you can find a complete (or nearly complete) stocker with stock exhaust and airbox it will definitely bring more money. I have seen projects from 1500-2500 non running machines so I would say it is probably in the ball park. Just depends how bad the buyer wants a particular bike. This bike looks to be in considerably better cosmetic condition then the ones I have seen lately. Hope that helps. |

Yes it helps I appreciate the reply  From scanning the pic I see its missing the chain guard , rear grab bar and as mentioned earlier the radiator guard or trim, seller also mentioned the the center stand is missing. Seller has owners manual and says this bike does not have an optional radiator fan. I want this bike but I think that even though its running the top end should come off for inspection I would think the the rings would be stuck in the grooves after so many years down

There is/was similar in the Kansas City Craigslist - $7500.00 http://kansascity.craigslist.org/mcy/3209565177.html Too much IMO, you can still find complete fix-er-uppers for a little more than a grand. |

I've seen really nice ones for 3500. IMO, it's too much money.They are good bikes though but a little on the heavy side. |

There have been a few in our area lately - one owner, low miles etc., they are selling in the $2,500 -$3,500 range. This one is $2,000. |

Well saw it in person and disappointed too, missing the following parts. Chrome radiator guard missing Plastic Radiator grill cracked Grab bar Center stand Rear pegs Rear fender cracked Wrong handle bars Rear view mirrors Chain worn not match to sprocket Gear indicator not working Crud in tank Overall its a good bike but I'd not be willing to pay more than 1,500 it needs a lot of work. |

OK, so the seller is dreaming. Make the offer. That would be a great bike for $1500 unless you wanted a completely restored one right now. I bet he won't get any other offers. He is just way off. |
