Hi Guys,
I haven't been active lately but just moved my H2 into the shop for a top-end rebuild. I raced it last year at Loring (land speed) but I think it was starting to seize (slowing under full throttle) and I haven't run it since then. I do have a set of race-ported cylinders, 39mm carbs, new Wossner's to install but am trying to decide if I should redo the crank seals. The crank was done about 10 years ago by Damon but only has a couple of thousand miles on it. I know it can't hurt to do it again but what's the experience with degradation over time been? I have not performed any leakdown other other tests yet, just trying to get my ducks-in-a-row before winter arrives. This might become a crazy street bike but will also be raced again.
Comments, opinions, etc. welcome!
Frank
