7 years ago I built a S3 framed H1 powered road racer... *&^%& happened and I never got it out on the track. Im using a braced H2 front end with the 19" wheel, Fork tubes are dropped about an inch. I'm just concerned about the handling and if there are any improvements that can be made to this set-up. perhaps an 18" front wheel ?, Any help would be appreciated!
Cheers

Definately go with a 18", really lightens the steering, and better leverage with the disc. Try to keep the stock rake trail, or just a tad shorter. Should be a great ride!

..slightly off topic but do you have a picture of the fit? I have a 400 race roller with a seized engine and a built 500 looking for a new home. Thinking about the swap

I don't have any pictures at the moment except the above... probably not much help, but its a simple swap with minimal fab work. I used a solid mounted H1 engine. From what I remember the front mount was basically a bolt on to get you started and the remaining mounts were simple fabrications. I did end up grinding a dime sized bit of clearance out of the right side swing arm gusset for added clearance for the engine case bolt/boss.
I just looked at Walms conversion thread and it looks excellent !! , Here's a link to his build on the Canadian web site.
