I'm new to the board. HI !
I posted my 1st question yesterday about not having a serial part number on my motor. Thanks for all the replays, I suspected the replacement cases but wanted to get your take on it.
I wanted to reach out also to all of you and say you've gathered and complied collectively the most comprehensive Triple info anywhere I've seen…and above any forum of any kind Ive been a part of…..NICE work gentlemen

Im past 50  , been riding, wrenching and building to some degree on and off all my life. Attached is a H2 I built and raced at P.I.R in Portland Or. early 80's
[short while, before that was an RD350 which I handily beat everyone in the 1/8th mile.
The H2 I never got it completely dialed in but one time it did run into the mid 10's. 1/4 mile. Not bad for my age at the time and no money, no brains. {still no money or brains}.

Hi Ed, cool photo. Did you get into the mid 10s with those Wirges chambers? If so, I can tell you how you could have shaved a bit more time off. :P

Actually I could never get the right combo to get her to run consistently. I think I may have cut too much off the intake skirt of the piston. I only ran it a few times at the drags….I ended up leaving town for 20 years and honestly I don't remember what happen to this bike... :( Maybe some where still in the Northwest?

Pretty scary racing with what appears to be "no socks" on...
I bet burning rubber on skin would make you go a lot faster.
