Hey guys,

I have been quiet on the board for a few months as I have been working on a few racing projects.

I am spending a lot of time working on my TZ750 for the IOM next year, with a strong chance that I can also run my H2R.

The other project is helping the US team prepare for the Island Classic in 2 weeks. A team of 10+ US riders will compete against teams from Auz, NZ and the UK. And yes, despite my heritage I will be on the US team.

The Internal Challenge (main event) class structure is big bikes up to 1982. I will be riding my TZ in this class and loaning my P&M Z1 to another rider.

As there was room in the container I will also be riding my H2R in the Post Classic races.

Would be good to see some triples fan out at the track.

Dave

Dave, that sounds like real fun, and I wouldn't mind getting out of the snow for a while.

Alas, no bucks, so...no Buck Rogers.

have fun, go fast win.

Tuner that would be fun, we have a couple a guys you may have kicked around with on the team. Riding are Gary Fisher and Otis Lance. And in the pits Kurt Lentz.

I know them guys. Kurt Lentz, the original ABC's Wide World of Sports introduction "Agony of Defeat". As far as Otis goes, a lot of us used to razz him a lot, with the Peter Reigert saying from the 'Animal House' movie, "YO....OTIS!". Then, we used to purposely misspell his first name, "OTTIS".

If you can cone him outta a couple, Fisher makes an excellent bicycle for everything from mountains to training, and, they ain't Yamaha's.

All 3 are top notch, and have as many, if not more than I, personal experience stories to tell. They are living motorcycle racing history, top notch all the way.

Still, no bucks, won't be for some time now, so, it's staying here instead of fun.

YO.....OTIS!

Hope you get lucky with the weather. Its been boiling hot some time already.
Keep icepacks at hand.
Stay clear of them wild Aussies, meaning leave them behind quickly. 8-)

Thanks Leo, not sure we are going to leave them behind, our bikes are way below the specs of the other teams due to the US rule structure, and we do not have a Steve Martin or a Jeremy McWilliams. However, we will do what we can!
