Nice job Dave! And guys actually watch some racing this time.......

H@ll J-M the girlie bike even got to follow two triples around the track for a few laps. If it had not been for a pink police car holding us back Shane, Evans, and I would of set a track record,lol...I found a shady spot close enough for my little camera to catch some of the racing action this time.

Thanks for taking the time to chat a bit with me Dave. As always you did a great job flying the green flag and on the TZ. I thought the race at RoadAmerica where you lost your footpeg was epic but the battle saturday was truly EPIC. Against a cagy old pro like Springsteen and a young pro like Politiek you did yourself proud

Thanks guys, I love the fast blurry picture! There is always another tier in racing, each time you go faster there is someone else to chase after. It was a fun weekend.

Sorry for the late reply, but did check out Dave racing at Barber Oct 6/7.
Not racing myself this time, so I was able to pay more attention to race games performed on track.
Saw Dave race his H1R against a Dutch guy on a ABSAF (a 60 RWHP/240 Lbs copy of a BSA Goldstar). Great to see how the H1R buried the 'Goldstar' on the straights while the nimble, lightweight single closed in on corner entry, corner exit and flipflop-chicanes. They were evenly matched with regards to lap times. Each had to deal with mechanical issues (broken drive-chain, dragging front brake). Just one out of four races there was a close to clean finish where the single managed the win.
Dave also raced the TZ750 against a Dutch guy on a vintage, but carefully prepared Ducati 860. Again, the Dave buried the Duc on the straights but on the short tight track Barber is, the nimble Duc held its own, posting identical lap times. As the finish line is on a straight, Dave always managed to blast past the Duc there, and he managed a very tactical win.
Dave also raced the Z1R against the Duc: what a busy man he was that weekend. The Z1R proved to be too much a big lump on this tight track against the Duc. Very interesting watch!
Lorraine did not have much luck with the Honda, not managing a single finish due to engine and ignition probs. Back to the drawing board.
It was great to see both of you along with mechanic Jeff and meet and talk with legend Hurley Wilvert :smt023
Learned a lot that weekend again!
