The season is wrapping up in the US, just two more AHRMA event, Barber and then Daytona the following weekend.

I will be at Barber and will have my Z1R, H1R, Bighorn and TZ750 with me. Lorraine is back with her CB160 after recovering from her broken collar bone. Apart from the racing we will be testing the new Continental race tires. I hope they work as the 18" options are now getting slim.

I will not be doing Daytona this year as my stuff needs and overall before going to Phillip Island.

Anyway, it would be great so see visitors in the pits, we have the white Sprinter van with the flock of green bikes.

I will be sure to look you up Dave. I was the guy who shot the short video of you guys in the pits last year.

Fantastic weekend at Barber, the weather was excellent and the quality of the street bikes was a huge step up from previous years. This event just gets better each year.

Thanks to all the folks that stopped by and Leo for hanging in the pits with us.

I have lots of 2nd places this weekend. Tough competition. Bettered my lap times by 1 second on the Z1R, 4 sec on the TZ (testing the new Conti tires) and 2.5 seconds on the H1R.

Many epic battles including one on my TZ750 against Springer and a very fast Dutchman on a Ducati.

Overall a great way to wrapup the season!

Dave

I agree, it was a great time at Barber's.
I enjoyed our visit with you and congratulations
on your success's.
I still get a laugh when I think about your reply, when I suggested that 5 races in 1 day is "a Job"
Best Wishes,
Shane

Dave,

It was a pleasure to meet you and your team at your spot in the paddock Saturday. :) I was with Shane (Retro3). Thanks for taking the time to show us your bikes and to answer all of my questions. We were rooting you on from our spot on the hill by the Ace Corner area by those last two turns before the long straight area. (with John Evans who snapped the above pic of you on your ELR) Man- you were flying! We got a real appreciation on the track with the parade lap too and fogged some folks with 2 stroke smoke late Sat afternoon after the last race was done. The 3 of us on 2 strokes (me on blue 72 H2, Retro3 on green 73 H1, and John Evans on red/white Yamaha RZ350) were at the front on the 3rd group they let out on the track. Good job and hope to see you again there next year!
