This is all about risk and reward. We all have thresholds for the risk we are prepared to take, and the reward, of what ever type, satisfies us.
For me, the balance for the IOM is quite clear. I am going back next year. Work is underway on a TZ750 that can stand the course and if I can get the current rules draft and schedule slightly ammended, also my H2R.

Don't bring a bike with a stock TZ 750 frame Dave, they aren't up to the job, the frame tube's that lead up to the headstock are prone to cracking, mine cracked at exactly the same place as Robert Dunlop's cracked back in the 82 MGP.
