Met with Hurley Wilvert today, he is rebuilding the motor.....

Beautiful stuff - If it wasn't for the fuel crisis' and the pollution debate of the mid '70's, we could have had that engine in a "H2-D". Look at those transfer ports!

Is that the correct color of silicone sealer I should use all over the outside of my intake adapters when I finish the reed installation?

Blue is piston port, red is reed,. Everyone knows that.......... :e11

H2D ? We have one here. It's running on diesel. :D

Looks like the cases have no number. They have the clearance bands machined for the later conrods, which have more meat round the big-end bore. The crankshaft is a full-circle design, uses the same oil collectors as the F5/F9.

Yep had the big-big rods. The bottom actualed clutch mechanism is different. And the drain plug is also the drum stopper, thought that was cool.

Not sharing which bike this is from?

Roebling was rained out, eventually today, after 3 of my races in heavy rain. They stopped when a funnel was spotted locally. Lovely.
