On that wheel, are the bearing holders and disk holder flanges cast into the wheel, of are they literally two adapters that sandwich between the hub and disks???

If there are bearing and disk holder adapters, it is a very early universal wheel.

If the bearing holders and disk flanges are cast into the hub, later, specific fit hub, not universal.

Which one?

Adapters, lots of parts to it.

How do you make pictures smaller than 250k Jim, this is stone-age stuff? I mean, I forgot how to do that years ago.....!

If the wheel has adapter flanges, it is one of the first Morris types. The idea was to make one open bearing area for all wheels, then, adapters for the different make & model motorcycle fitments that bolted on.

It became evident that doing a cast in bearing area was both more cost effective, and easier than just machine the bearing holders and disk flanges for each make & model directly. The later wheels more work, more different coverage, and that was back in the days before CNC milling machines & lathes.

If the bearing area is cast into the wheel, like the MARVIC shown above, it is a specific fit, later model wheel, and they were 19 inch front for H series, and 1st design Z series bikes. (Later Z series used 4 bolt disks).

That is the first 7 'spoke' MARVIC I have seen, most are 5 spoke.
