I am heading to PI this weekend to race at the Classic on Jan 23rd/24th with the US team.

No Kawasaki with me for this trip, I am riding my TZ750 again, but if you are in the area please stop by to say hello. We have a couple of trick Z1s on the team.

Here is an article about the US Team and the event:

That is awesome, Dave. Ride fast and safe, win the thing, my friend.

I wish I had the bucks to attend. Australia and New Zealand, great places.

Back from the Classic and back to the grind of work.

The US team was 4th, beating the New Zealanders and behind the UK, Australian and the new comers, Ireland.

Not too many Kawasaki triples for this event, but there were about 15 TZ750's racing. With frames from CMR and cases from Consortium people are bringing these bikes out to race again.

Last year I was the top US rider, this year 5th highest points scorer, my lap times were slow and my clutch was burn out on the last race and would not stick, so I pulled out.

You can find some pictures from the event on this page, I am riding #17:

We are currently lobbying to run these specialized pre 83 bikes at AHRMA events, so you may see some of these out during the year.

Well done, sir, happy to hear results were good, and everyone ready to go again.

This Irishman is also happy to hear there is an Irish contingent in the series as well.

I think the plan/idea to bring this to the States Vintage Racing Organizations is absolutely FANTASTIC, go forward, young lad!
