Being a complete novice on Kwacka Triple design (rode a friend's 500 - but never owned one), are ALL available triple cranks the same? That is to say, is there a difference between street cranks and purpose built road race or drag race cranks? I'm looking for a strong/reliable piece. Being intimately familiar with Yamaha RD/TZ/LC/RZ crank design, I'm well aware of the relative advantage of crank wheels with integral pins vs crank wheels with pressed in pins.

Any integral pin triple cranks in existence? Barring that, any semi-bullet proof pressed cranks?
Thanks in advance.

Steve

Only differences in cranks is the bearing quality, and stronger aftermarket rods.

How about supplies? New crank wheels/pins available?

Thanks.

No, never been a necessity. Sudco does have 500 crank pins, and maybe 750.

Contact Charlie Smith and Dave Singleton, both in the vendor's section of the resource site. They can probably answer any questions about crankshafts you can some up with.

Charlie is east coast, Dave is west coast. If you put an approximate location in your board profile it will help.

As long as it is a nice tight crankshaft, pressed pins will be fine.
