Thanks to Tim Steele for lending me the GoPro. I put it on the headlight of the KE100 and off I went. Amazingly, there was very little traffic on the Dragon, so I was able to run the KE almost flat out for most of the trip from the motel to the overlook and back.

The bike was better than ever due to a mistake I made when I loaded the bike at home. I forgot to turn off the petcock. When I got to the motel, the bike wouldn't start...no gas in the tank. So I borrowed a quart of fuel from Dave C, got the bike started and then pulled up too the gas pump at the resort. I wasn't paying attention and filled the bike with 93 octane. I've always run the bike on 87 octane. Well, the 93 gave me more power and more top speed. I was able to maintain speed on many of the hills that I used to have to downshift for. The KE100 will never see another drop of 87 for as long as I own it.

I tried to convert the video to a smaller format, but they came out jumpy, so here they are in the native format of the GoPro. The videos are huge, so don't try to view them with a dial up connection or from a smartphone. They are about 16 minutes each... full runs with no edits. Yes, I know that the clutch slips.

Jeff, the files will take nearly an hour to download at 3 Mb/sec! I'll wait for the DVD to be released. :-)

Oh boy more data for the Old Folks on Two Strokes series. I'm downloading now.

The HD video from the Hero2 is kicking my PC's rear. Looks like I need to step my processor up and move to windows7 so I can deal with files bigger than 2 gig.

Linux has been able to handle 2TB (2,000 GB) files since 1993.

OK Jeff, I downloaded the "out" video and it is excellent. I take it that you have some decent tires on the KE100.

I got the files downloaded Jeff. Look for your run in an upcoming episode of OFATS. Which I'd I named the series Old Folks And Real Two Strokes.

It's a shame you didn't get any footage of passing a Harley.

Jim, he has Knobbies on the darn thing! :o

Killboy, knowing my riding ability asked me to do a high speed high angle corner for them. They caught me at my best!

Well, they must be darned sticky knobbies then.

And John, there may not have been 2TB of data in the world back then, but Linux was ready just in case. The current file system used on most Linux installations, including the computers Google uses for their search engine, is EXT4. It handles 16TB files.
