Thanks to Tim Steele for lending me the GoPro. I put it on the headlight of the KE100 and off I went. Amazingly, there was very little traffic on the Dragon, so I was able to run the KE almost flat out for most of the trip from the motel to the overlook and back.

The bike was better than ever due to a mistake I made when I loaded the bike at home. I forgot to turn off the petcock. When I got to the motel, the bike wouldn't start...no gas in the tank. So I borrowed a quart of fuel from Dave C, got the bike started and then pulled up too the gas pump at the resort. I wasn't paying attention and filled the bike with 93 octane. I've always run the bike on 87 octane. Well, the 93 gave me more power and more top speed. I was able to maintain speed on many of the hills that I used to have to downshift for. The KE100 will never see another drop of 87 for as long as I own it.

I tried to convert the video to a smaller format, but they came out jumpy, so here they are in the native format of the GoPro. The videos are huge, so don't try to view them with a dial up connection or from a smartphone. They are about 16 minutes each... full runs with no edits. Yes, I know that the clutch slips.

Jeff, the files will take nearly an hour to download at 3 Mb/sec! I'll wait for the DVD to be released. :-)

Oh boy more data for the Old Folks on Two Strokes series. I'm downloading now.

The HD video from the Hero2 is kicking my PC's rear. Looks like I need to step my processor up and move to windows7 so I can deal with files bigger than 2 gig.

Linux has been able to handle 2TB (2,000 GB) files since 1993.

OK Jeff, I downloaded the "out" video and it is excellent. I take it that you have some decent tires on the KE100.

I stopped at the 129 booth and they asked me to do a run on one of their bikes as they found out I was a road racer, I said sure. They got my name wrong, but it really, really is me........... really......... ;) ;) ;) :lol: :lol: :lol: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf:

I got the files downloaded Jeff. Look for your run in an upcoming episode of OFATS. Which I'd I named the series Old Folks And Real Two Strokes.

It's a shame you didn't get any footage of passing a Harley.

Killboy, knowing my riding ability asked me to do a high speed high angle corner for them. They caught me at my best! :lol:

Well, they must be darned sticky knobbies then. :lol:

And John, there may not have been 2TB of data in the world back then, but Linux was ready just in case. :lol: The current file system used on most Linux installations, including the computers Google uses for their search engine, is EXT4. It handles 16TB files.
