Strange that the bike sounds nothing like mine at all! So much is in the silencer I guess?
John used the word quiet to describe the sound, I've never been accused of that! :lol:

Give Mark a little time to get some gunk in the chambers and some cooked oily carbon in the silencer packing, and it may sound more familiar. :lol:

I agree that she's running a bit loaded in the video but I really don't think it will sound like mine in the end. Gonna need to hear a flyby when Mark gets it sorted! :thumbup:

As far as I know, the main difference is that I used a smaller perf tube in the silencer as you suggested, but it's not that small at 1-1/2". Also, from the photos I've seen, the one I made is probably longer than yours.

Ran even better after Mark found the choke cable pulled out of the housing. Fixed that and raised the needles, it ran way better for the reed conversion setup. Good sign that it wants more fuel=more power.
This video sound was really good...it did sound like it was quieter setup with the single silencer!
