This was a good year even if not a "record attendance" year. I had a great time, and it seemed so for everyone there. Only a couple of minor accidents and to my knowledge, no tickets.

Three Gumbys.....explosives, etc.

My favorite thing was discovering that my Buffalo, "Blue Boy" actually rides like Chuck Q's RD400!!! Same seating position, power delivery, handling, and general feel. Chuck thought so, too. Who'da thunk it??? Makes me proud to have built a GT750 that dances so well. My baby Yamaha was a hoot. I love passing sport bikes on a 40 year-old 100.

How many days till next year?????

Any chance you could post a pic of the GT?

The back fender and tag have changed since this pic, but you get the idea....

A most righteous ride. I flogged it on 28 and having ridden Chucks 400 as well I heartily concur....

having ridden both, chucks bike this trip and lanes a few years ago, i can see the comparison and i agree. very similar power delivery/manners and both extremely well sorted. Hoever, lanes has probably the best 'home' rear brake setup i have ever used, its fantastic and simple.
