I`m new to this. What is deals gap ?

Deals Gap (AKA Deals Gap Motorcycle Resort) is a place where a bunch of us 2-stroke people meet up each year. It is on the North Carolina/Tennessee border and the roads in the area are some of the best for motorcycle riding in the US, if not in the world. And its not just bikes there. Pretty much every weekend during the summer there are multiple automotive groups rallying in the area. Search on Deals Gap Motorcycle Resort to find out more.

There's also a Wednesday night Pizza night which has been going on for close to 10 years. Here's a few other things.

Nightly live music provided by some of the guys....free entertainment and usually some nice beverages that give you just a little buzz....

We get a few of the gang and ride down to Topoco lodge about 2 miles away and have dinner. Pretty good food and there's the view of the stream which flows right pass the place. There's just one small thing about riding down there with 20 or so guys, on the way back up the mountain everyone halls ass! I think it helps with digestion after dinner...

Oh yeah, and there's always someone like, Chuckie, Mark, Tim, Mike, Joe, Shane, Evans, Jeff, Jay, Tom, Nitrous Carl and his gang and pretty much everyone else including myself working on their bikes. These are probably the best bike mechanics around the good old USA.

We always have a blast even if it rains.

It's a wonderful part of the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee and North Carolina. Lots of fun roads in the area. Deals Gap is actually 1 road out of the many and is frequently referred to as The Dragon because of its 318 curves in 11 miles. Some of the curves are 180 degrees. Lots of fun even if all you do is the speed limit.

The Deals Gap Meet is The Annual Eastern 2 Stroke Meet and you'll never meet a better bunch of guys and rarely see a larger group of 2 stroke motorcycles in one spot being ridden. You'll see everything from H2s to KE100s to RZ500s and Gammas.to Suzuki GTs.and RDs. Frequently there is a Bridgestone. We've had guys from all over the world come to the meet, but, predominately it's guys from the eastern half of the US. This year is the 25th meet.
