Man,what a loss to all! That was a nice destination. Bummer...... just adds to my depression.

It's closed now, but later in the paragraph it sounded like once the current virus problem is over (months... years?) they plan to reopen.

I'm sure someone will take over the reigns in the future. Too nice of a place to just sit empty.

The message on their site implies that they plan to try to return when it's possible to run a place like that profitably again. It's kind of cryptic though, mentioning being patient with the staff as if they'll still be there. Or maybe that's written by someone at the TVA. It's hard to imagine that it's going to be abandoned, so I bet there will still be maintenance and groundskeeping going on.

I just had a dental checkup today. My dentist said he's down to about 60% to 65% of what his practice was before, and had to completely close for two months earlier in the year, before it made any sense to do that out here in a very lightly populated area.

Not happy about Fontana. I wonder if the disc golf course will be playable.

I'll vote yes. I figure they're not going to let all the lawns get overgrown, because of the cost to repair them if they do. If I'm right I'll buy you a beer. :)

We might have to park outside the complex and walk in though. We can use that as a disk throwing warmup.

That's what I was thinking. If anyone asks what we're doing we can say we're thinking of taking over the place and want to check out what we'd be getting.
