Hell yes, I DO whine, whimper, bitch and complain! Ask Frank and Iron Butt Allen, after sitting on the back of a bike everyday for a minimum of 6 hours, one day was 8 hrs, I was so stiff and sore, butt went through stages of no pain, numbness, pins and needles then it burnt and it got harder and harder to throw my leg over the saddle. Allen asked me if I always whined - YEP, especially when I am in pain. I don't hide it.

To the best of my knowledge the Cajun and me will be in attendance with an eclectic mix of Manly Triples large and small. This year we both also plan to bring a small contingent of the Yamaha Twin girly bikes including his beautiful RZ and my Project RD 350. Bikes will be ridden. Busch, Red Stag, and possibly Cabo Wabo will be swilled by the firepit. Stories will be told for the lamentations of the women. 8-) 8-) 8-) and Moo...
I will be arriving Sunday and departing Sunday. I can't speak for my Ol' Podnah as to his arrival and departure days.

I'll have to hit the wife up and see what she thinks. She is driving her machine regular now. 8-) She'll probably shun the pool for riding.

Last year at the Gap. She only had 200 on it and I still had to ride on the back.

She has 2500 on it now and rides it all by herself.

I'm really considering this as my "2013 Triples Event of the Year"!! Being in Ontario, Canada, it feels a little early in the year, but might as well kick 'er off with a bang!!

Never been to "the Gap" but I know I need to get there. Hangin' with you all might be fun too!

Another buddy with a '72 h2 would like to come as well. We'll see if we can firm up soon! :D

Thanks for organizing this... much appreciated! :e12

It would be great if you could make it, Droozki. It might seem early, but it's normally plenty warm that time of year in that area. The only time I was cold was riding on the Cherohala Skyway, but that gets over 5,000 feet up, so you're pretty much in the clouds. I would have stopped and put the lining in my mesh jacket, but Evans Ward took us though it so fast it was over before I knew it.

John, when do leave, I mean to get there? How many miles a day do you cover? I'm in the SF bayarea and trying like hell to go next year, might like to hookup along the way to travel together.

Anyone else from the west coast thinking of going?

Don

Damn it! I was really hoping to go to this one. I was thinking we could throw the bikes in the back of my truck and go. I don't get back from afghanistan until the end of May. Don, if you don't make it this year, next year is a for sure.
