I'm just bitter because I had a pristine KH400 seat but after 1 season of riding, the vinyl split up the seam... Really a shame there isn't a provider that is willing to make replica's... Hint fricken hint!!! :P

Unless I'm mistaken, reprodecals has a cover - PR-K010 Kawasaki S3 & KH400
1974-1978 S3, S3A, KH400 A3, KH400 A4. Just ask Andre or Ellen if these have the correct number of pleats.

I'll ask again but so far from what what I've seen by the usual suspects are seat covers listed to fit both S3 and KH400... Of course what it is in reality is a S3 seat cover that looks like crap on a contoured KH400 foam.
I'll likely just get a custom one made by a local upholstery shop. ;)

I see the 78-79 KH250/400 seat (no strap), then Euro (strap) listed. What other markets were they still available in those years? ie, who got the stepped seat w/o strap? :?:

I don't know who got the strap & who didn't for any year except that UK did and US didn't. Of course US didn't get any '78 or later. Same with rear fender & clear master/cyl.
Maybe someone more knowledgeable can answer.
