This set of chambers was on my H1 with an H2 motor. I sent closeup pictures to Tony N. and he told me they are H1 chambers. The exhaust manifolds have been welded to the exhaust pipes.

When I picked up the bike it didn't have proper baffles. I bought a set of baffles from Jim (Denco replica guy) for about $100.00. If you want the pipes and baffles I'll sell the pipes for $125 plus shipping. If you don't want the baffles I'll sell them for $25 plus shipping.

I live in Hawaii. There are two ways to ship things to the U.S. mainland from here. 1. Air freight - very expensive for an item of this size, around $175 and you would get them in a week or so. 2. Boat - can take up to 2 MONTHS. But it's cheap, about $60.

If you're interested let me know. I would hate to put them in the trash if there's someone out there who can use them.

Wow! Nobody can use a set of what appear to be Dencos, complete with new baffles, for about $185 shipped??? Sure, the flanges are welded to the headpipes, but that just means no leaks, and no springs to fuss with.

Mike, what's the condition of these as far as underside dents, or any significant dings, rash, etc.?

One inquiry so far, that's it.

There are some dings underneath, don't look too bad IMO.

Yeah if anybody wants to show up at my house you can take the pipes for free. I just want to get reimbursement for the baffles. Come on, book a flight to sunny Hawaii!

I've just mentioned them to a friend who has been keeping half an eye out for a set. The downside is that he lives here in the UK and what the shipping might cost. A possible way around that could be to ship them to Michigan and have RB include them in his next container load. Umm, I say that without actually having asked him if it would be OK though.
The solid engine spigots might be a problem with his being a rubber mounted KH. I will let him dwell on it.

All those radiators and you own air cooled motorcycles! Ironic.
I'm with Kawi3 as far as the leak/spring zero maintenance thing.
Out of curiosity, are the welded flanges an issue on a rubber mounted H1?
The flange/pipe/spring connection, is part of the two stroke charm for me.
But $125 for a decent set of H1 chambers is like a gift from the Hawaiian Gods.
Was there in November and missed my chance to hook up with Mike :banghead

Not to take away from the value of these chambers, but head pipes welded to the adapters like that is asking for cracks to form somewhere, whether or not the engine is rubber mounted. If I wanted those chambers, I wouldn't hesitate to buy them, and then I'd cut the head pipes loose and get them back to the way they were. You can use three blue rubber thingies to seal them if leaks bother you.

I've sent you a PM Mike with the email address of my friend that is interested. He isn't registered to this forum so he asked me to signal his interest to you on his behalf.

Hal's friend bought the chambers. They are being shipped to him in England via RB.
