I've decided at this point in my life I'd rather have a few less things so I can do a few more things. So I'm putting my H1 up for sale.

But here's the Cliff's Notes version:

* 1975 Kawasaki H1F that I purchased with the mono-shock frame conversion already done.
* Seller reported a freshly rebuilt top-end, which based on my observations seems correct.
* I've gone through it over the last several months and fixed a lot of odds and ends, most notably:
* Installed front brake calipers and master from a newer Suzuki Intruder. It stops well now. Much better than with the OEM setup.
* New stainless steel brake lines.
* New tires and tubes.
* Rebuilt carbs with new jets, floats, float valves and seats, jet needles, enrichners, gaskets. Carbs work nicely with the Denco's and K & N pods.
* New fuel lines and filters.
* New petcock with positive "off".
* Rebuilt oil injection lines with new ball valves and springs. Oil injection is intact and functioning.
* Added 1.5" of preload to the stock fork springs.
* I installed a new battery and went through the electrics and got everything working properly. All lights and charging system work as they should.



The bike runs great, starts easily, and idles well. I just got back from a trip to Daytona for Bike Week on it and had a blast. I've probably put 500 miles on it in the past week or two without a hitch. It has the OEM spare plug holder under the seat, but I haven't touched it. The bike literally has not missed a beat.

While it's mechanically sound, and a great rider, it's not cosmetically perfect. The guy who painted it went to a lot of trouble with the ELR striping and hand lettering. But it looks like the metal wasn't prepped properly and the paint is lifting on the left side of the tank and tail cowl. Overall the bike is very presentable. It never fails to draw a crowd. People were stumbling over $30k custom choppers to get a look at it on Main Street.

I have it advertised on my website for $4200, but I'm willing to deal if I have to. I would also consider interesting partial trades, but I'm really looking for the cash to finance my planned adventures for the year.
