Ran this on my old H1 for ages but I've since upgraded to more modern forks and wheels and don't really see needing it any more. On my H1 this was a BIG improvement on handling especially combined with taller shocks. This is a Moo inspired mod. Do a search on here. I'm sure there's info on it. It's simply an 18" rear rim laced to a stock H1 front hub. It a good decent wheel but NOT suitable for a flawless bike. I got it from Cody years ago. Great function, decent form. Has a few tire iron marks and the spokes are not flawless. But it's straight as an arrow, handles great and come with a really good low mileage Bridgestone BT45 tire and perfect low mileage bearings and speedo drive. $150 plus actual shipping costs. Was in a hurry tonight but would be happy to take some daylight pics or answer any other questions.

Shipping would be cheap. I could practically roll it down to you. The wind is heading your way. :P

Shipping? What shipping, I'm up there about once a month, and my Grandson is expecting a new little sister in early October! Can I have 24 hour dibbs so I can sleep on it?

OK, I've come to my senses. I can't spend money on stuff for the H1 (that I'm not working on) when I'm still trying to get my S1 out of boxes and into a rolling condition.

Whats it look like on the bike, is there a big gap between the tire and fender?

It will look odd. S fender will work with slight mod.

Actually it doesn't look to bad with the stock fender. It's the sort of thing that doesn't jump out at you unless you're looking for it. But yeah and S series fender works perfect. I had an aftermarket painted fiberglass fender most of the time I had it.

I guess all the discussions were on the old message board which I went to do a search on and just discovered is completely gone. Well that's a sad loss of resources :? JaMoo is the real expert on this (i think he more or less invented it) but It basically drops the front end and alters your geometry to quicken up your steering. I wnt to Deals Gap one year on a 19 and cam back the next on the 18 and it was a huge difference. Had all the other usual mods (tapered bearings, bronze bushings etc) and taller 13.5" rear shocks and it was night and day. Not quite like my RD400 but a lot closer.
