***SOLD*** ***SOLD***

Second-to-last bit for sale: I have a really tasty aluminum swingarm that was fabricated by a guy named Ken Brumm. This was the skinny from him when I ordered it:

"They will be 1" longer in length, use all stock bushings, & rear wheel assembly. They will not use the open end chain adjusters, the later round eye type will be used. The shock positions will remain the same. They will be packaged as follows. One swing arm, and one cnc rear brake control arm. They will be Identical to the rd 400 in appearance, rear plate w/ 1"x 2" 6061, boxed in front area, 1.5" tube, and slotted control arm. Price is $675.00 shipping and anodizing is extra. I am taking deposits in the amount of $150.00. If you have any questions, or would like to purchase, feel free to contact me. Thanks for your Inquiry! Ken"

It's new, unmolested, has never been installed. It looks like this:

I'd like to get NEW PRICE - $550 for it, shipped ground in CONUS.

Thanks,

N.

The hot ticket for the early H2's were two fold, front, and rear.

Rear, use a Z1 swing arm, 1 inch longer than stock, had to narrow the front pivot on each side to fit the H2 frame, not much shortening, hollow aluminum swing arm pivot bolt, and, lay the shocks down on the tops, to Erv's angles, 36 degrees shock angle.

Front, use Z1 dampers, close off two of the 4 holes on the bottom of the damper, use either 20 or 30 weight engine oil in the forks, add about three quarters of an inch of spacer length on top of the stock H2 fork springs. Pull the front tubes up in the triple clamps about a half inch, use an 18 inch front wheel.

Dunlop K81's were the hot tire back then, I used pre-run Dunlop slicks off Yvon's bikes, on Morris Mags, on the street, never did get caught running slicks on the street.

Frame needs to be braced, and the upper rear engine mounting plates removed completely off the bike.

This swing arm in the pictures looks like the Z1 clone of the early era, with the mods done for the H2 already. Nice piece, should work well. I have an aluminum Cal-Fab arm, with under bridge support on my 1980 Z1 Classic FI bike, it has been cloned into a mark II, instead of the cruiser.

These days, there are so many good swing arms out there, many to choose from, but, the one above is super nice.

Yeah, it's really nice, the guy that just bought it will NOT be disappointed. The guy Ken Brumm that built it is a real craftsman.
