So, just for clarification, 'mild steel' would be your typical "4" and "7" bolts on a H2, realising they are different spec. in themselves. So, non heat-treated zinc-plated fasteners. |

And to complicate matters, the strength of 304 stainless varies greatly with amount of work hardening during the manufacturing process: |
