I have 5 newly machined (thanks Jeff Derstine!) EX caliper adapter brackets for sale. They are machined from stainless steel with the top hole tapped to M10 x 1.25. I have verified fitment and they can be used on either side (left or right). Fits all Kawasaki Triple models excluding the 1976 KH500. $20 is the price including USPS 1st class shipping within the continental US. Payment via gifted PayPal. Once these 5 have been sold, interested parties can contact Jeff D as he will be selling them at a similar price point.

I’m keeping the majority of the EX caliper adapter brackets as very soon I will be selling cleaned, rebuilt, and refurbished left and right EX calipers loaded with sintered pads and including all mounting bolts with tapped holes complete with the EX to Triples adapter plate. These will be ready to mount and bleed. I will also be listing EX500D master cylinders that have been cleaned, rebuilt, and bench tested. I have rebuilt and sold over 120 various master cylinders on eBay over the past 6 years. Yes, I am keeping busy in retirement!

PM me if interested in one of the adapters. Thanks!

Good deal! I don't need one but it's nice to have a spare. Thinking about it..

Great idea selling a whole kit with rebuilt caliper ready to go!

Is stainless steel the right material for this application, (I mean I don't know, genuine question?)

I made and sold a couple hundred of these in 3/16" thick 304 stainless. I have never received any report of trouble with one. I have one on my H2 and it has worked fine for a few years now. I suspect the Evans/Jeff version will work as well.

Jeff D is a machinist and he recommended stainless steel for this application.

Thanks for that, fellas' ...what about using s/s bolts to attach disc carriers to the hub.? I've always understood that stainless has a lower shear strength than mild steel bolts, and it's maybe not the right application. But they look good, and I'll have to take my H2 thru. an inspection to get it road registered. Any thoughts on this? I love stainless steel, S/S bolts all over the H2 and my Kitchen, too! :D

I don't know about lower than "mild steel". You'd have to look up the yield strength of 304 ss and whatever "mild steel" you mean. But once you get to something like 8.8 or 10.9 bolts, yes... they're higher strength than 304. I didn't supply bolts when I sold adapters, and I used 8.8 (I think) on my own. I'd bet that you could use stainless bolts and do stoppies all day long and not break a bolt though.
