I mentioned these here a few years ago, but decided I won't use these ever, so would like to sell them. Not sure what they are worth, and will attach a pic or two if there is any interest. Note that these can't be used on a stock frame as the exhaust ports come out on different angles from stock, and run into the down tubes. I saw the H1R at the Barber bike museum a few year ago, and yes, these are the same cylinders that bike has.

Any idea which version they are, there are 4 different types, and they all look alike to most that haven't worked with them.

I have never worked with them myself, so I don't know. They have a raised cylinder liner at the head face, about 2mm step higher than a stock cylinder.
Any markings on them to look for to determine what versions these are?

Yes, they all have that lifted area, uses a round copper head gasket that indexes in the cylinder head.

The best air cooled cylinders for them are the H1RA-S (H1RA-Special, last air cooled version).

Just out of curiosity, I measured the exhaust port distance from the head face, subtracted off the typical .040". 1mm squish clearance, and with a 58.8mm stroke length, they have an exhaust timing of 85 degrees after TDC.
I'll put them on Ebay to see if there's any interest there.

Yes, H1 and H1R have that stroke, and 60.0mm bore.

From the exhaust duration assumption, I would think they were original, first series cylinders.

Don't give them away, they just might be the very last full set of brand new originals, get paid for them.

I also have a set of these cylinders and mine are H1R-A with the bridged inlet port.
They were in with some of the spares that were included when I bought my H1R in 2004 for £10,000 ($11800)
The part numbers show the cylinders as H1R-A in a 1975 price book
The price for the cylinders part number 11005-079+80+81 in 1975 was £74.70p ($88.14p) :o

Well they sold quickly, $1500, to someone in Oregon. Hope they get used and are going to a good home, better than sitting here.
