Hello members,

LexPaul here from Knoxville. I’ve met some of you at Deals Gap over the years. I’ve been on a Suzuki T500 and a Yamaha RD400, hanging out with H1Steve from Knoxville.

I’ve got maybe one more left in me and so I’m looking to restore a Kawasaki Triple.

My order of preference would be as follows but I’m open to any offer.

1972 H1 500 (I had one of these in my late teens), KH400, S3 400, S2 350, or S1 250.

Should you be interested, I’ve got 3 bikes I’m willing to trade and negotiate with.

1978 KZ650 with almost 30K in excellent rider condition. Original paint and never been down. Vance&Hines 4/1 pipe, tuned

1978 Yamaha RD400E with almost 20K. rebuilt motor, Fukui Pipes, tuned, nice dependable rider.

1975 Yamaha RD125B with almost 8K, rebuilt motor, Higgspeed Pipes, very dependable and the most fun to ride of any of these in my opinion.

I’ve included a couple of video links below. Let me know if you have questions or would like pictures, etc. I could meet at the Gap for trades. Text or call 8six53six8six57four

I'm in CA, so shipping would be a factor  , but I have a clear title in my name for this one. Hasn't been run since I acquired her in 2007 or so, but turns over fine. Please note that steering left contacts tank due to tweaked steering stop PIN, which you will notice I've installed a removable machined stop (with Allen set screw), and steering damper under-tank mount is broken off (I have complete frame section to repair/replace the broken piece). Aside from this, it's ready for a restoration. Thanks.......Darrin.

I also have an untouched 72 S2, original red, that you can barely see in my avatar, all the important/major parts all there along with typical "patina", surface rust, etc. No title on this one, which I bought off eBay shortly after I picked up the H1 shown here.

I may have a line on a 400. Haven't seen the pictures yet but hope to this week. I don't plan on restoring any more.

How far are you from Columbus Ohio? I have a 1971 h1 500 that's a really clean, mostly complete project, and might be interested in that RD400.

No, these are not mine. I think these are Rocks, a local vintage bike legend in these hollers. ?.

I like that 125. From the description I've been given the 400 sounds like a KH model. I'm going through a friend of a friend of a friend so the process is taking longer than it really should. :banghead

I'll post some pics as soon as I can dig it out of the back of the garage. Sorry I didn't check in here sooner.
