Too funny, if you read it as I did anyways.....

"My father in law spent over a year restoring this bike and has over 8k in receipts, not counting purchase price. Only issue with this motorcycle is it doesn't run quite right, it's a little hard to start but does start and runs just not quite right he thinks the carburetors need some work but he isn't certain.
He is selling in order to fund another project."

One he understands maybe?
One that does not require decal placement expertise

Shall I continue?
Black fender?

Running poorly because he didn't install new crank seals maybe? Just a guess. That "Kawasaki" letting doesn't look like it was stock on any triple I've seen. Pipes appear to be mounted to the outside of the mounts, making them stick way out. I wonder what the hose clamp around the alternator cover is for. Other than that, it's a perfect restoration, right RB?

edit: Does it look like the cylinders and heads have been spray painted silver?

another edit: The rims and probably the spokes too! I'm not going to look at it any more.

I asked about the hose clamp on the ebay listing -- said he'd ask his dad... No further word. Looks shnakey....

His father-in-law changed to his dad? It gets shadier by the minute.

By all the chrome do-dads on bolts, I would guess the guilty party rides either a Harley or Gold Wing. So many issues, but how do you call that a restoration?

I saw that a couple of days ago and still have a headache from shaking my head in disbelief! I wouldn't know where to begin . . the paint makes me cringe . . . but those plastic "chrome " buttons are just the cats do dahs! . . To the extent of getting One for the triple tree top bolt
