So this is the first dual disc setup I have used. Appears to be a correct right caliper. Not impressed with the stopping power compared to a ex500
single caliper. I don't care for flat black Denco's either, prefer chrome or stainless. Think the dual setup is worth what a nice set of Chrome or
stainless Denco's go for? Got the jetting close and just installed Jim's all-in-one CDI box. Have the oil injection working to the cylinders now too.
Bike is coming along in the right direction. Since the original cases are long gone, good bike to modify. I still miss my gold 72 that I sold 4 years ago
and may try to replicate this one in that direction.

Nice lesters. You can get your pipes rechromed for $300 in Fresno.
Buy new Z1parts/TNT pipes for what you can sell your dual disc brake setup for. Z1 will give you a discount.
Saw your big rotor holes, discs are cheap for the new buyer of the kit.

I liked the style of Lester wheels that where on my Gold 72 much better that the ones on my latest 72. May build up a nice set of wide
Excel wheels for the bike. Not a fan of the skinny 120 rear tire. My little RGV's run a 150 rear and that seemed narrow

Holy disks are period correct for H2R replicas, I do know that for sure. Me, I'd do those disks, and 2 EX calipers reversed to the rear of the tubes. I like brakes that work.

I ran dual ex500 calipers on my gold 72 for a short time and thought it was to much braking for the street.
The EX500 calipers are pretty cheap and I could give it a try again. Lots of steep hills here and maybe it
would be a good idea Dave. I still have my 90 RGV250 and rode it right after getting off the H2 today.
It's like going from a bicycle to a race bike. The RGV's are still the most fun bikes when ridden hard.
But being an old guy, the H2 is more my speed these day's

Of course the drawback to dual stock disks with either EX or stock calipers is ten pounds of unsprung weight. I find the single stock disk and EX caliper with a 1/2" master cylinder on my H2 to be more effective than the previous dual stock setup I had.

What Jim said. Dual EX's is just overkill and added weight for naught.

I would think it comes right down to personal preference. Mine would be to the maximum end of the scale.

Got the factory dual caliper set off today and installed the EX500 caliper. I never have tried the factory dual disc brakes until I bought
this H2. They looked cool but that was the only plus. Could use a longer speedo cable, other than that, works great.

For stock caliper moved to the rear of tube, I used to fit a stock Z1/KZ1000 speedo cable, about 2 - 1/2 inches longer than H2. Would also think LTD cable would work.
