I wasn't implying you were over charging at all. Just the fact, to most guys looking, there were just 2 usable pipes.

Darrin, I'll replace the head pipe and front cone for $100 plus actual cost shipping. I'm not sure if it would be better to ship all three here and then to you, or send two to you and one here. I guess you could make some online shipping estimates. A set of three, boxed for shipping is usually around 23 lbs. and takes a 12x12x48" box. Old ones with oily stuff inside could be a couple lbs more. Sometimes FedEx ground beats USPS, and sometimes it's the other way around.

No rush to decide, I'll be around if you go ahead with it.

Thanks Jim, I'll check on postage estimates first before I settle with Jeff, and then get back to you...and thanks yet again for helping out us old relics...I'm referring to our bikes of course. ;)

I'm positive Jeff didn't take your comment personally John - I know I took it only as you making a valid and helpful point for anyone considering these pipes for their own project (like me! ).

A BIG thanks to both Jeff for selling me these old Dencos, and to Jim for repairing the funky-repaired pipe. No surprise here - top-notch work by Jim, who also took the extra time to knock out most of the dent in the middle cones!

I was glad to help save an otherwise solid set of Dencos. Once the first cone was off, I was able to get rid of a big dent in that pipe too. The other two pipes were in very good shape as-is, so it should make a nice set now.

Darrin, are they going on an S2 right away, or is that bike a project? Here's a right pipe "before" shot of the dent.

Jim, it's a project that I got to about 75% complete - stalled a bit, but I plan to get back to it very soon...especially with the arrival of these chambers! ;)

And you did a VERY nice job of tapping out ALOT of that dent. I was so happy when I saw the end result!
