Received this from a friend who was parting ways with the triples world.
I bought most of his stuff when he sold out and this was included.
Beautiful billet swinger bolt with nut.
Threads are so smooth on this set its unreal.
NOS stock ones are an easy hundred dollar bill at eBay.
make me an offer and lighten your bike a bit.
Not to mention it looks great ! ! !

Billet what? It looks like steel in the photos. Maybe it's titanium? It's certainly a beautiful part.

Not complaining here, Steve. Do you have a stock one to weigh? It might shed some light on the material the custom one is made of.

The word "billet" just refers to a solid chunk of metal, so a billet crankcase would be machined from a solid piece of metal, rather than a casting that was already somewhat crankcase shaped.
