This one is not as nice as the gold 73, but it seems to be mostly original and all there.
Someones kids must have had fun with a spray bomb judging by the splashes of white paint here and there.
Goo Gone removed it where I tried a small area.
Battery box is just hanging there and needs to be attached again.
Electrics are on the box, untested of course.
Gauges look very nice, but ignition has been taken apart and is missing key switch.
Tank is pretty clean and has no dents but a scratch or two.
Kicks over and turns the rear wheel when in gear.
Clutch is frozen open (probably why it was at the dealers for repairs) so when you kick it over, there is no power to the crank.
I plan to pull the clutch cover and see what up Saturday/
Tins are solid, wheels are fair to good and need cleaning.
Seat pan has rust starting around the edges as most old ones do.
Definatly not too far gone to salvage and restore though.
Its still a 200 dollah seat at ebay....
