Does your machine guy have the capacity to grind or plain a rotor down (as opposed to a brake lathe)? I have some RD400 rotors I need to thin, but since they already got holes, there's too much chatter on the lathe.

I have used B&B for work related jobs and Chuck Q (Supertune) told me they have done brake rotors for him. You must break it free from the hub (drill rivets) and re-attach when done, I think he used stainless hardware.
