I would think it would depend on how he is thinning the rotors. If they are being ground, I don't see a problem. If they are being turned on a lathe, it can be done but personally I would turn the rotors first then drill them. The interrupted cut from the holes can cause havoc on cutting tools and may also lead to some undesirable finish/chatter on the surface.

I have 2 rotors ready to ship.. $225 + shipping each, no core needed..

This is EDs(zero)bike. The rotors i have are just like this one..
Let me know if you want one or both.If nobody wants them i am going to put them on ebay
soon..
