piroman, how about some background on the NOS factor.....

NOS S2 motor I would think would gave an interesting story behind it :think: , lets hear it :thumbup:

I don't know the history behind the the motor I got it with a bunch of other 2-stroke stuff. I'm a yamaha twin guy and I don't think the previous owner really knew what he had.

I'm not going to be back home untill midweek and don't want to bother trying to get them posted from my phone.

I'd rather find someone doing a concours restoration then just dump it on ebay to the highest bidder.

my guess is that it is from a "tech school" and has been apart a bazillion times.

Close up photos of the fasteners (head bolts, JIS Phillips head screws on engine covers, etc) would help tell this story.

How do you know its NOS :?:
