For sale is a dual disk conversion that I intended to fit to my H2. Both disks were thinned down and lightened so a considerable weight saving is gained. The calipers are EX500 and come complete with all the parts necessary to fully rebuild them. The kit also comes with the mounting brackets for the calipers. No bolts for mounting either the calipers or the disks. This kit should fit H2s and also early Z1s. I don't think I am going to get around to mounting these so they can go to another board member. $350 plus shipping

It might be good to split up the two kits, since one is all you need on a triple.

Jim K has a dual EX setup on his H1 (used to be an H2) and that thing could stop it and the next 5 bikes behind it if you're not careful!!! :o

Ja-Moo has a video of him testing a dual EX setup on his H1. The front wheel locked so easily he took it off soon after. I'm used to my stock dual disks on my H2, and when I rode his bike with a single EX, I had to use one finger on the lever to avoid locking the front wheel going into the tight turns on route 28. Seriously, two fingers was too much.

It's all a matter of selecting the correct master cylinder. On my H1 I have twin 320mm disks and calipers from a 2009 Ninja EX650. I started out with a 14mm (9/16) master but that was way wrong and I finally ended up with a 19mm (3/4) radial master. The brakes are very controllable and capable of extreme braking but you have to apply some pressure, and that is what makes them so controllable. Fork mods (gold valve) and heavier springs is a must for utilizing brakes like that. They really encourage some spirited riding on twisty roads with late and hard braking when approaching corners. On the downside it has nearly halved my front tire mileage.

Worst thing you can do is to slap on large twin disks with multi piston calipers and then try to use your stock master cylinder. You will have a lot of braking power alright but it will be spongy and uncontrollable.
