the only thing that really attracted me to the bike was the clean title, but a piece of paper isnt worth 1200.00. wishful thinking that it would be less. NO DIBS, sorry
Clean title is nice, but I'd also expect a complete bike for $1200.00, that's just me.
I just bought a S2A without a title, I'm going to try and file for one as the vehicle being abandoned.
This seems to be a several step process. First I found that I have to get myself set up with the state to do searches to see who the owner and/or lien holders are.
I'll have to mail them certfied letters, they have 30 days to respond.
Then complete a few forms (long, bureaucratic forms) and a title in my name should arrive.
I'll report back - unless someone makes me an offer on my S2A that I can not refuse!
