Hey I still have this front fender. Its original for a 74 H2.
It has dents and scratches and probably needs to be refinished to make it usable, thus the reason it is free. Also it is big and I need to get it out of my apartment.

You can either pick it up, or pay for the shipping. I dont know what the shipping cost will be yet. Its probably not the weight but the awkward size that will cause the cost.

If anyone has shipped one of these fenders before please let me know how you did it and what it cost.

Maybe you know, and prefer the personal touch, but USPS, UPS, and FedEx all have web sites that let you calculate the shipping cost and even pay and print the label. USPS even gives you a little discount for doing it online.

Thanks for the shipping tip. I have tried to use the websites to calculate the costs and a couple of times I got surprised by some technicality I was not aware of.
So I try to be sure just in case.

I just calculated and conferred by phone with UPS that shipping the fender will be about $25

Cheers,
Jack

There is one thing to be aware of... if you ship something in a box that FedEx considers oversize, you don't get hit with the charge until after you ship the box. Whenever I ship expansion chambers, I have to add $7 to what the web site says, because when the bill comes in, it has that amount added as an oversize charge. I'm would expect that UPS does something similar.
