OK, I know this is a long shot, but thought I would try. The 73 H2 frame I have was cut by the PO right where the final hoop comes together in the rear. This is the U-Shaped section that has the stand-offs for mounting the rear tail section to. I was hoping someone has a frame that was hit in the front or not usable anymore that would be willing to cut off and sell this section so I can fix mine. I can post pictures later of exactly what I am looking for, but thought I would get this out there now. Thank you very much for looking and hopefully I can get lucky and find some help. |

cyclebuster wrote: I have the rear cut off from a 76 KH500 I saved. It will fit. save a good frame. Contact me at http://www.cyclebusters.com I have used this part before on 72 H2 frames. its cut back into the sheet metal too, so you can clean it off and push it in a ways. $25 plus shipping. WHAT??? NO IT WILL NOT FIT.... The rear frame section of an H1/KH500 (early OR late) are nothing like the rear section of an Early H2.. Nor are the "stand-offs"... Nor is ANYTHING for that matter. Totally INCORRECT information. |

jesus h god I love the know it alls. the thing has 2 sets of holes drilled and tapped, and its the exact same thing I used on my 72. Fu ck it its not for sale, I am scrapping it. It may not have the exact angles but who cares your frame is junk. its never going to be original. just pay someone $100 to ruin a good frame for ya. AND ANOTHER DAMN THING. IF THE F ING THING DIDNT FIT I WOULD HAVE GIVEN HIM HIS MONEY BACK. |

I don't know much, but I've repaired enough and modified enough H-series frames (OF ALL YEARS) to know what is interchangeable and what is NOT. You made it sound like the freaking things are the same? Just to make a buck.. They are not even close. I'm not going to let you lead some new guy astray just so you can try to make a buck. Does the rear of these two frames look "interchangeable" to you? Does the Tube Diameter look the same? Do the mounting blocks look the same? Does the angle look the same? Do you think the frame widths are exactly the same at the rear? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE show us all how you mounted a KH500 rear frame section to a 72 H2 frame!!!!!! EARLY H2 H1/KH500 P.S. Really Classy Deleting your post.. |

yep your right. I remember now why.. It was an S2 section, OR A kh250 I saved, and NOT A KH500 one. I for one am sick of KNOW IT ALLS on here all acting like I am trying to cheat some poor soul to make a buck. Just go to god damn hell. FWIW the piece of frame I have looks 100 percent exactly like the H2 frame, but the tail tabs are larger and double drilled. I think I had to move the back ones even, WHO CARES, I WOULDNT SELL YOU WATER IF YOUR HEAD WAS ON FIRE. I HAD THE PIECE THE MEMBER NEEDED CHEAP AND YOU banned word HIM OUT OF IT. AND ANOTHER DAMN THING. THE 73 H2 I BUILT YRS AGO HAD THE TAIL CUT CLEAN OFF AS WELL. AND I USED THIS EXACT SAME PART TO FIX IT. I SENT IT TO A BODY SHOP AND THEY REFIT THE S2 FRAME SECTION INTO THE H2 FRAME, IT FIT PERFECT. THATS WHY I SAVED THE THING. AS FOR WHY YOUR BIG MOUTH HAD TO ATTACK MY POST OVER A TYPO, I CANT SAY. I WILL LOOK FOR YOU AT MID OHIO. I WILL WEAR MY LOGO. COME FIND ME. |
