My friend Sam Hognut Rogers is in the process of resurrecting a 71 H1. The wiring was compromised in several places, but the bike does run. He has during this process discovered he needs a coil. My 71 H1 parts bike had a car coil ( Borg Warner ) But I can't find the impedance listed and my coil is unserviceable. I don't want to steer him in the wrong direction. What automotive coil would be suitable? What impedance is needed? Does anyone have a known good 71 H1 coil they are willing to part with??? |

OEM was: Primary= 3.4 ohms Secondary= 6.7K ohms |
