Long Shot, I know... but checking to see if any of you guys have a nice 400 that has been collecting dust? I just do not have time to build another bike right now (from scratch), and regretfully got rid of my last NICE S3 (along with a bunch of other stuff) before our move last year so I am without a 400... woe is me. :(

will consider anything from nice rider (that may need some cosmetics) or even restored? Must have nice chrome and be a running/riding bike.

thanks!

no.. I do not want one that "needs restored" or even one that needs TO BE restored. Nor do I want one that needs a restoration or refurbishment.

A (really) nice rider-quality bike, or one that is (nearly) finished.

My '76 KH400 has nearly 1,000 original miles on it. I found it in Alaska with 150 miles. Had a couple of prospective buyers, nobody went for it and I shipped it to Honolulu. Yeah, I would sell it but the price has gone up because I already shipped it here. If you're interested send me a pm. It has some dings and dents. Mostly original, I changed the handlebars, shortened the clutch cable and changed the tires. I still have the original tires, they look okay but I was a little worried about riding on 38 year old rubber.
