I would like to find a set of cases KH500 model due to differant items with shift drum.. bare cases plz

if you have the drum and gearbox an so on you can fit it on any H1 cases with perhaps just a trouble for the neutral light :mrgreen:

Unfortunately that is wrong. The KH 500 cases are different to allow the 1 down 4 up shifting mechanism to work. KH 500 is unique in several areas.

there is a added threaded boss cast on the KH cases for the shift drum detent. The drum, and engine shift arms are different, and you have to get the screw in detent.

know this John but explain me how some guys as Wolfie from UK triple put a KH 500 gearbox and drum in H2 crankcases :?:

I have done it also JP. You just have to have machining skills and an understanding of what needs to be done. Most guys have no idea, if it's not a bolt in.

I was just pointing out there is a boss on the KH cases that make it different.

thanks for the info John, was thinking was nearly bolt on and it'sn't.
You're right when it'sn't bolt on, plenty of guys can't do it ;)
