Looking for a stator for a kh 400 and S3 Carbs.. Let me know if you can help Johnny O I have S2, S1, Kh 400 carbs would trade and alot of s3 and kh parts if that will help sweetin the deal.. :mrgreen:m I have a complete s3 stator for trade for kh .. Oil pumps. guages,covers , complete s1 for parts ?????

What year? How are the downpipes on that S1? I am building an S1 and the mufflers are very nice but the downpipes were so bad that the PO binned them. I will send a PM when I assemble a list of other stuff I will need. :roll:

Side panel gone sold,, Seat pan sold have another solid for recover if you need Its a 1975 No paper work. Has spark and good compression has sat for a couple of years needs carbs cleaned and points work I belive will run have not got to yet...Going to use back rim everthing else up for grabs?? Keeping grab bar too ..

Well it looks like the downpipes are a no-go. :( But I see a petcock, headlight ears (if straight), kick lever, tail section / light... I will have to check my pile of parts to see what else I could use, there's always more! What you have there looks like a 76 KH250-A5, the only KH250 sold in the US. It had the drum brake while the KH250-B1, also a 76 model, had a disk but was only available in the UK and other markets (they got KH250s and 400s until 1980, lucky dogs!). The front reflector on the frame was my first clue, the "S" bikes had them on the forks. The paint under the green also supports this, the 76 KH250 came in Super Candy Red. Look at the fuse holder, 3 fuses right? Yep, KH! The 75 build date will likely be late in the year, this throws many off when determining the model year, the best way is to look at the frame / engine numbers: http://kawtriple.com/mraxl/model/250pic/250.html Your tank should also have a locking gas cap, and is more desirable to those looking to give their S1 or S3 the KH look. I wish I was closer, I would consider relieving you of the whole machine, titles can be had with some paperwork and lying - I mean money! Look for a PM tomorrow after I have done an inventory and have a better shopping list...
