The engine is from an H2B, part number H2E-37720

However, I would like to build an H2C, starting with the correct frame, if possible.

Fellas, correct me if I'm wrong, but the only major difference between the two is cosmetic - the tank and seat combo - otherwise I believe the frame/swinger, etc. is the same, save for a few minor details like 0mph increment speedo, side cover emblems with white inlay, and of course the decal/paint scheme.

real H2B frame hasn't the brackets welding on the frame to fit on the rear the H2C tank rubber but only those for H2B tank rubber which are fitting shorter on the frame as the H2B tank is shorter than H2C tank.
And early H2B frames have the hydraulic steering bracket on the frame on the right not on the left. :mrgreen:but engine 37*** should have the hydraulic steering bracket on the left as mine which has low numbering than this engine has already the bracket on the left
